After James Blake dismissed fellow American Sam Querrey and Andy Roddick’s unfortunate ankle roll in the semi-finals, Andy Murray stepped up to win the key points in a tight match that saw the first British player in over 70 years crowned champion.

Scoville Jenkins had an solid win in qualifying over #6 seed Somdev Devvarman 6-1, 6-7(6), 6-3, but then lost to Falla 6-3, 6-7(2), 3-6.
Ryan Sweeting lost in the first round of qualifying to Karol Beck 3-6, 6-3, 3-6.
Jesse Levine defeated Soeda 5-7, 6-4, 6-3 but then was defeated by Edouard Roger-Vasselin 6(9) & 5
Rajeev Ram was defeated in two tie break sets, 6(7), 6(1)

Bobbie Reynolds lost to Golubev 2-6, 6-4, 6-7(3)
Mardy Fish defeated Llodra 5-7, 7-6(5), 6-3
Robert Kendrick lost to Lopez 6(3), 6(3)

Roddick defeated Vliegen 1 & 4 and will meet Hewitt on Thursday
