USA Eliminated from ARAG World Team Cup
The USA went down 0-2 to Sweden mathematically eliminating the USA from advancing at the ARAG World Team Cup.
Sam Querrey was defeated by Soderling 2&2 while Robbie Ginepri was defeated by Vinciguerra 5&4.
USA Drops First Round Robin World Team Cup vs. Germany
Robbie Ginepri nearly secured the second point in his match vs. Kohlschreiber, but the USA ultimately ended at 1-2 when Ginepri faded 7-6(5), 6-7(4), 0-6 and Fish/Querrey were defeated by Kiefer/Zverev 6-4, 4-6, 1-10
Querrey will now take on Soderling and Ginepri will battle Vinciguerra of Sweded who won 2-1 over France earlier.
Querrey Gives USA 1-0 Lead Over Germany
Sam Querrey defeated Schuttler 2-6, 6-4, 6-2 to give the US a 1-0 lead in the red group round robin at the ARAG World Team Cup in Dusseldorf. Tomorrow Robbie Ginepri takes on Kohlschreiber to be followed by the doubles match.
