Liezel Huber (w/ Black) advanced to the Stuttgart quarterfinals over Dushevina and Husarova 2 & 3.
Raquel Kops-Jones and Sarah Borwell also advanced over Hsieh/Scheepers.
Abigail Spears (w/Sun) has a tough first round coming up against Hantuchova/Sugiyama.
If Mattek-Sands (w/Petrova) can advance over Jugic-Salkic/Poutchek they will meet Huber/Black in the quarters.
