Amer Delic lost today in his final qualifying round to Franco Ferreiro 4&5.

Anglea Haynes and Carly Gullickson both came from a set down to advance to the second round of qualifying. All the American winners required three sets and they all won the third set in convincing fashion.
Haynes defeated Zuzana Kucova 5-7, 7-6(4), 6-2.
